Hart Applauds Attorney General's Lawsuit to Block Federal Power Grab and Protect the Central Coast

SANTA BARBARA, CA — Assemblymember Gregg Hart (D–Santa Barbara) expressed strong support for Attorney General Rob Bonta's lawsuit — announced this morning — challenging the Trump Administration's unlawful attempt to override California's authority and allow Sable Offshore Corp. to restart the failed Las Flores oil pipelines associated with the devastating 2015 Refugio oil spill.

FACTS Act Press Conference

Asm. Gregg Hart hosted a press conference with supporters to recognize the enactment of AB 1108, the Forensic Accountability, Custodial Transparency, and Safety (FACTS) Act. The FACTS act will require independent medical investigations for all in-custody deaths in California.
